My Learning – Learning Activities & Assessment

 

  • Your learning content is broken into logical topics and associated learning and assessment activities, and they can all be viewed at any time.
  • The recorded lectures within each topic will help you learn core syllabus knowledge by explaining concepts and showing you worked examples, providing you with lots of opportunity to apply the concepts yourself.
  • Practice & Apply assessments help you demonstrate learning of the core syllabus knowledge, and identify your strengths and weaknesses on specific areas. Achievement Ladder
  • The Achievement Ladder is central to your learning and will enable you to check, and see a record, of your progress through the programme. · The Ladder consists of a series of assessments that build in complexity and syllabus coverage preparing you for exam readiness.
  • Once you’ve completed your learning activities, attempt the Achievement Ladder step assessment, review your feedback and take action, or move on. My Calendar – programme structure
  • Each programme is allocated a range of suggested Achievement Ladder step submission dates, to provide a logical progression through your studies. You will find these dates pre-populated in your calendar.
  • You can use your calendar to enter other key dates for your programme. My Groups – programme support Tutor support via the Online Forums
  • From day 1 and for the duration of the programme you will have access to an Online Classroom Forum where you should direct any queries to your expert tutor.
  • The BPP Team will also post discussion topics and additional content in the Forum and we encourage you to join in the discussions.
  • The Forum will be your primary method of communication with your Tutor, and we encourage you to check this on a regular basis. Study Guidance
  • Our study guidance provides advice on how to approach your studies in preparation for each Achievement Ladder step, with suggested timings for your learning activities, so that you can plan your studies with confidence.
  • You can find a copy of your Study Guidance in the Online Classroom Forum within ‘My Groups’ on day 1 of your programme. Focus Sessions
  • Focus Sessions are short, focused, live webinars, additional to your BPP programme and optional to attend. The sessions are led by an expert tutor and are aimed at further improving your understanding of difficult technical areas and reviews of Achievement Ladder assessment steps.

  • This forum will provide information relevant to you, such as when my.bpp.com will be unavailable, and for how long, due to scheduled maintenance.
  • You will also find the links to the recordings of Focus sessions where relevant.
  • We recommend that you check this forum on a regular basis.
